To Shower or Not to Shower
As a mother you do what you have to do, right? So if that means turning on PBS and taking a shower to get a clean and fresh you do it. Lately I just don't think it is working out so well. I come out of the shower to find Seth on the computer desk throwing things off of it. Or the T.V. turned up FULL BLAST. Or the refridgerater door wide open. Well this is what I came out of the shower to this morning. My couch cushion open and stuffing everywhere. I guess it could have been worse most of it was still in the cushion. So what is a mom to do? I am NOT a morning person so waking up to shower before Kory leaves(at 7:00) is out if the question. Waiting until nap time may work but really who wants to interupt the middle of the day with a shower, you would have to get ready twice, possibly two outfits or stay in your jammies until 2:00. I'm just not sure that is the best idea. Then there is shower after the kids are in bed and you are free not to worry. I have done this, but I usually have to re-wet my hair the next morning and sometimes just don't feel that refreshed all day. Or give up showers all together. I'm not sure how Kory or the rest of the world would feel about that. So for now a quick shower in the morning and a mess to clean up when I get out. What's a mom to do?

I can so relate - I'm not a morning person either and it's all I can do to get up before 7:30 am.. there's no way I could fit a shower in before then! PBS is our morning friend too.
I totally bond with you and dread every morning the thought of showering. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love to shower, but it's the whole process of picking out an outfit, doing hair, getting it ALL together that comes with the showering that makes me delay the moment. And I don't even had kids yet! Good grief!
Oh dear! Is this what I have to look forward to when I have more than one child to worry about?! Boys . . .
I know how you feel, I have to wait until Shay is down for a nap and then put a show on for Laynee and just cross my fingers that she will stay out of trouble. Most of the time it works, but sometimes I come out to find her doing something naughty! Kids will be kids huh!
Jill-
This is hilarious! I thought my boys we're creative, but I don't think they would think to open the couch cushions. I love the blog.
You don't have a lot of luck when you go into your bathroom do you?!?When do you move here officially?
