We started at the temple. I'm real mad I didn't take pictures. The kids were starving by the time we had finished so we needed food not pictures. So we drove to a metro station parked and rode into the city.(thanks Jordan for your help and directions) Had some hot dogs from street vendor, not my first choice but we were all too hungry to wait. We have been to D.C. a bunch of times but never saw any of the memorials or monuments so that is what this trip was for. PLUS the cherry blossom were in bloom. They were beautiful. It was very busy there because of it though.
We had a lot of fun-well at least Kory and I did, on the way home Ben said he would have rather watched his kid shows. Oh brother!

Sounds fun. It looks like I missed the cherry blossoms by a week. darn!
Jill--looks like you had a beautiful day in D.C.--I have never been during the cherry blossom time. Seth looks so old, and so does Ben! When do you guys leave. I heard it was in April, begining or end? Hopefully I'll get to see you before you leave.
Oh you're so lucky to catch cherry blossom time! What a great way to celebrate spring!
Hey Jill - this is Matt's wife, Whitney. Are you guys moving back to Utah then? We occasionally visit Salt Lake and would love to get together - if that's where you are moving to! Is Kory transferring to another job?
I LOVE DC!!! I wish that when I lived there I would have taken more time to enjoy it as well. We get caught up in everything else. Glad that you took the time, and your kids will be as well.
