Ben is in First grade! 
These are horrible pictures. He didn't want to have his picture taken.
It has been two weeks and he has really enjoyed it. It does say that it is too long, but going from half-day kindergarten to a full day of first grade, I don't really blame him. I, on the other hand have struggled with him being gong all day. This was much worse than last year. I was also very stressed out about how we are going to deal with his diabetes while he was at school. The first week I went before lunch to help. This week, the nurse has been there to help. It still is a little stressful, but I am not sick about it now. If they have any concerns they call, so I stay close to my phone around lunch time. It is exciting and sad how fast they grow.
His teacher is really nice and he is making new friends. He loves the Monkey bars and will have huge callous by the end of the year. First grade, look out here comes one great kid.

I can't believe how grown up he is! I still remember our little nursery boy that always wanted his Dad!
You are blogging!! HOORAY! So Colin DID NOT want his picture taken on the first day either so both his turned out a bit funky too. They are getting too grown up :(
